What I have done in the holidays.

3 months ago it was announced that the whole of New zealand would go into lockdown for 1 week due to coronavirus, Auckland was at level 4 while some of the islands were at level 3. Many were shocked with the news, some irritated and some happy, this wasn't really new to everyone since we’ve experienced this in the past back in 2020 march the 25th. Events were postponed and  some stores closed while some were opened for grocery shopping, that's usually how things go during a lockdown. Teens, kids, toddlers and furthermore adults were back to online school & work using their devices at home or school devices.

After days it was friday which meant that everyone would get an update about the lockdown we were currently in, Considering it was announced that we were going to be in lockdown for the next 2 weeks meaning we would continue doing things we would normally do in a lockdown.

After 2 months New Zealand was still in a lockdown, Auckland was moved to level 2 along with the other. Apparently a maximum of 10 people from two households could meet outdoors for a picnic, barbeque or a social gathering, not to mention school holidays were on for a period of 2 weeks as always.

During my holiday I was blessed to see some of my relatives as I haven't had any contact with them in-person for 2 months. We celebrated a birthday together and made sure to stay safe afterwards. I also got to bake  delicious brownies with them which was a really nice experience.

On the 2nd week of school holidays I went on a ride with my brother along with his wife to the beach to look at the view and also see the attractive sunset go down, it was a really beautiful sunset to experience as the sunset was a yellow-ish orange colour. That’s what I have done in the holidays during lockdown. It was really entertaining to do these in the holidays with my relatives and hope to do them again!

Question: What have you done in the past 2 weeks of school holidays?
