Malo e lelei, this morning room 5 literacy class had some homework to do. Our homework was about persuasive writing, as you can see our topic was about "School lunches should be optional" I then wrote my reasons why school lunches should be optional and how I'll convince my audience.

Greetings, this morning room 5 literacy class are learning about persuasive writing. we had 3 topics to pick which were "Everyone should be able to travel without a vaccination" "school uniforms should be free" and "We should be able to bring cellphones for school". I decided to choose "school uniforms should be for free" as you can see I did my 2 reasons why uniforms should be for free and my sentences on convincing people why school uniform should be for free.

Speech - oral presentations

 

Task Description: for today's literacy work we did a presentation about Speech-Oral Presentation, as you can see  we talked about if doing a speech was easy or not, I worked with a buddy Central! as you can see we had to watch many videos on the presentation to learn about speeches, on the last slide you can see that we did a speech about being on time to school, it was very fun working with central and I'm looking forward to doing these type of work again! 

Noval study!

 

For today's literacy work Room 5 had to pick 4 things to work on Story reflections, Story web, Noval study or Real or not, I decided to pick noval study and decided to work on. This is what we worked on click on the next slide to see some more amazing work!

                        Greetings! This is my Te reo Create-task, as you can see I have Created my own version, Make sure you take a look!

Talofa lava! for this today's work I learned about places but in Maori language, on this slide deck it is about Te reo and it asks us questions like "Kei hea a Jayah?" which means where is she, as you can see I answered all of those questions and worked my way through, to see more click on the next slide!

Kia ora! for today's literacy work we are re-creating a poppy on a google draw, we created a poppy and wrote why the poppy was important and why we wear it, I worked with a partner Marytiana and this is our amazing work that we have finished!
