Year 8 camp!

                                                                   Year 8 camp.

On Wednesday morning the 19th of may the yr 8’s got ready to go to somewhere special! That special place was Kauaeranga christian valley camp, everyone was excited visiting Kauaeranga, once everyone had got into the hall we talked about the things that are going to happen there. We got to have a look at the timetable, we then had our prayer before we left . Our 2 buses had now arrived and it was time to put our luggages and bags into the bus. Our luggages then safely got into the bus and it was time to go on the bus for a long ride which was about 1.5 hours away from Auckland. During the bus ride we arrived in Coromandel, I was amazed by the view there! There were a lot of mountains, farms, and much more. About 40 minutes later we finally arrived in Kauaeranga valley. Everyone hopped off the bus and got the luggages out. We then got to have a little snack since it was a pretty long ride and because we couldn't eat/drink on the bus, we got to explore the camp, there was a playground, a big hall with a basketball court and many more fun games, there were also a big field filled with activities that we were gonna do. After our little snack we went inside the dining room and sat on the floor because there were some people that we're here to introduce themselves. There was Zac who owned the company and many other more people that helped him continue the company. 

Once they introduced themselves everyone got to know what cabin they were in, when I got into my cabin I decided to change into something comfortable since we were gonna do an activity. Everyone then went into the hall ready for their game, this game was pretty tiring but it was fun, we then got to do another game this game had a mat what we were suppose to do was somebody had to go on the mat and everyone had to lie down and push the mat on the other side of the hall. After the games have finished everyone gets to have 20 minutes of free time to go on the trampoline, games upstairs of the hall. After 20 minutes of free time we got to have our first rotation, we had 2 separate teams , kauri a and kauri b, kauri a which was my team got to do paintball so we had to change into something that we don't mind getting paint on. Paintball was sort of hard since the ball wouldn't pop and it was kind of hard aiming for each other. After our paintball game we decided to practise our item since paintball wasn't easy for us. After our first rotation we got to have another 20 minutes of free time. It was now day time and it was time to practise our item for our concert night. It was then time for showers, after our shower we got to have a little free time for 5 minutes and then it was time for dinner our dinner was butter chicken and our dessert was brownies and ice cream, we then got ready into our pjs and got ready to either sleep or watch a movie, and that was the first day of camp!

Malo e lelei, Talofa lava, Bula , and Greetings to you all! My name is Luisa, I go to  Pt England School I am a Yr 8, now a leader of Pt England School!   I am from the Island of Tonga!, I am currently living in Auckland, New Zealand. I am 11 yrs old turning 12 in March, I am from a family of 4 and I am the youngest sibling.

What are the things I like/love to do you may ask? The things I certainly love to do is spend time with my family! Because it's a lot fun when family members are together. One of my favourite moments with my family is going to the beach on a sunny day! I also love spending time with friends and teachers. The things I like to do whenever I get kinda bored is to do hand-craft. I love sharing my culture and love to learn other cultures as well like , Samoan , Spanish and many more. I love collecting different kinds of things like shells at the beach and making necklaces and bracelets! I am also a food lover! Some of my favourite fast foods are KFC, McDonalds.

Time for goals! My goals for 2021 are to at least level up 3x for literacy and level up 3x for maths !

My Life!

Hi my name is Luisa and today I will be writing about my life starting when I was in daycare when I was probably about 3 yrs old, when I was in daycare my daycare  was about right across the shops. When I first started daycare I didn’t want to go, I started crying, and it was really nerve racking since it was my first day so I just had to get used to it, after days I started to get used to it and I would run off to go play with my new friends, days after I stayed home because I was about to start kindergarten at the age of 4 yrs old  so I probably stayed for one week, after one week I finally started kindergarten so I had to buy a bag and also buy a lunchbox. When I arrived I was pretty excited since there were a lot of toys,there was a park,and I even saw cooking ingredients that were on a small table.



After days I started to get used to it because there were alot of kids and some of them would welcome me, when I was in kindergarten I would start making more friends and my favourite thing in kindergarten was to cook with the teacher and cook with other people as well, whenever we're done we all sit on the floor and my teacher would pass out the food that we made and we would all eat it together. When it was march I was really excited because my birthday was coming up, after days it was my birthday and My mum and my brother came bc I was having my birthday in kindergarten, I was sitting on a chair with a crown on my head, I was 5 and I had to move to a primary school, My primary school was called Pt England school and that's when My life started to begin.

Inviting celebs for dinner!

The person for dinner I would like to invite for dinner would be  Beyonce!  Because she is kind and pretty when she is on the stage and when you listen to her songs, her voice is amazing and you can also go on the stage to  sing with her! Or she will give the microphone to you,  just in case you wanna try! She will also make you smile just by smiling as well! She is an amazing person with a REALLY cool life! 

I would also want to invite Camila because she is also very nice and she is also really awesome with great life as well! The reason why I would invite her it’s because I have a favourite song which is the song Havana!  I used to always sing that one non stop! I think that it would be pretty awesome if Beyonce and Camila was there as well to come for dinner! The dinner would also be in a restaurant as well because there food is REALLY delicious!

Last week Wednesday there was something really surprising happening! Do  you know what it was? It was sky sport news! They wanted to see how Pt England school plays netball! But it was more like recording them So all of the netball teams came outside and changed into their uniforms! Sky sports news just came to record the netball teams! It was not all of the netball teams it was just year 5 to 6. Netball teams were surprised that they got to be on  the sky sports news! Two things that are important are the uniforms and the fees! The reason why uniforms are important because it has your school logo on it which is why.The other reason why its the fees because you have to pay for the fees! For netball. You can also play netball because they give free opportunity to people who want to play netball  and who want to join! The reason why we give free opportunity because we want other people to have fun and be able to know more about netball as well!

What do I like most about New Zealand and why?


The thing I like most about New Zealand is that we have REALLY YUMMY food you would feel like a second one!!!  the other thing I like about New Zealand is their Tip-top ice cream because their flavors are REALLY REALLY DELICIOUS and my favourites are cookie crumble MY FIRST FAVOURITE,cookies and cream which is my 2 FAVOURITE and salted caramel MY THIRD FAVOURITE.I also LOVE there swimming pools and there beach because its just relaxing and fun to swim and you can also make new friends, when it's the weekend the other thing I really like about in New Zealand is their buildings because it looks nice and clean and people can go inside and take a look then they can go back out.The other thing I like about New Zealand is their pies because it is really good to eat when you feel cold it can just warm your body on the inside, also I REALLY LOVE their chocolate because you can eat it and It'll just melt  you can also melt it in the microwave and just  dip it with a banana or a strawberry which is one of MY FAVOURITES!.I also LOVE their candy which can be pineapple lumps and you can put it in the freezer and after that you can just eat and you’ll be satisfied!!! The reason why I like these things about NZ because in other countries its not like this and like its not NZ made and that is why those are what I like most about New Zealand!!! 

The Time Traveller

If I were a Time Traveller

If I were a Time Traveller I would Probable go in the past and I would see all the stuff and things that existed in the 190’s.In the future I wish that every house had a pool so we don’t have to drive to the pools and pay as well.I think I would stay in the olden days to do stuff that didn’t exist in the future.I would also be looking at myself in the mirror wearing are large coat in black colour with pockets and a huge magnifying glass in one of them and also wearing  a backpack with a clock inside it.Also if I were a time traveller I wish that people can breath under the water and people understands what the sea creatures are saying.


I also wish that cars can drive by its self and fly when you want  it to fly.It would also be cool if there was a Porto which is like teleport to places and a Porto is like a circle where you can walk into it and jump into it as well.Also wish that the olden days stuff and toys still exist in the future because it would bring back a lot of memories and it would be very funny to talk about it.I also wish that animals can be kind to people and people can understand what they are saying. This is my story about if I  were a Time Traveller.
