Taha  Hinengaro challenge!

This Morning Nina showed us a way to Relax our Mind/Clear our mind as well.
She meditation,she also played Relaxing music like the sounds of nature and birds chirping. Here's 5 ways you can relax your mind.

. You can pray/read the Bible.
. You can do some yoga with some relaxing music.
. You can go for a walk with headphones,playing music you think is for you.
. You can write some things down on a notebook.
. You can Read  a book.

Genius Hour@ PES

Today we learned about how the Google company allows their workers to use 20% of their working hours to work on a passion they have.  This is known as 'Genius Hour'. As you can see our class had made this list on the board of what they are studying about or learning, we will be working on these in the weeks and coming up with our own 'Genius Hour'. I am very Excited to learn/start this project!!!

Taha Wairua - Spiritual wellbeing

Todays for our study on Te Whare Tapa Wha we are looking at Taha Wairua.

This is to do with our spiritual wellbeing, what we believe in. There are many ways people show Taha Wairua. We talked about this and came up with this list:
. People pray in public and in private
. Some people dress a certain way to show their spritual wellbeing - what they believe in
.  Read and live by a certain set of guidelines: Bible, Quran etc
. Signs or symbols made with their hands, in jewellery, clothing etc
what other ways can you think of?


Today our Activity was to create a card to bless another person from our bubble, to make thier spirit-
their 'Taha Wairua' stronger.

Level 2 school @ Pes is Safe!


 

  Being in school at Level 2 feels kinda Nerve racking but also fun, We have learned to keep our distance, washing our hands, and also putting on Hand sanitiser before everything!

For my Healthy snack I decided to pick a smoothie!
My ingredients for my smoothie are sliced up banana,strawberries,Milk,and Almonds.
Blend together and TADAAA!!!!
