Timetable

On Monday we were learning maths and we did Timetable with the maths group. 

Manaiakalani film festival

On wednesday it was Manaiakalani Film Festival. All of the kids were super excited to go on the bus. It was so loud and so exciting that all of us were going to the film festival. When we got there we hopped off the bus and got in the cinema. I was so excited when we got inside the film festival. We sat down on the seats and there was another school that came and it was tamaki primary. When everyone got in there seats the lights turned off and it was time to watch the manaiakalani film festival movie. There was twenty movies that we were going to watch we watch tamaki primary movie first then pt England school one.

My favourite movie was the dance battle of GI the groups was called pt England champion and champions dancers.There was three people that was going to have a dance battle they had to beat them. The other group won so they keep on dancing. After that the other team was gone to a school and the door was opening its shelf there was three people that was dancing and sometimes singing with a background behind them.

Meanwhile  they went back to the dance battle when they have to dance to them and show them the dance that they a going to do. They were finished so it was the other team turn to dance.next it was time for the points it was their turn  to dance to the other group and see. It was time for the other team dance when they danced it was time for the points. The pt England dancers won and they were so happy that they won the other group was sad that they lost because they were the champions and the movie was finished.

When we came back to school I felt like I wanted to go back to the film festival and watch the movies again. The movies were  so cool and it was funny.

Dear Ema,

This term we been learning about music and musical madness.  We have made our instruments that we use to make music. We made our instruments with a cup with stuff inside and tape. It was so fun to make! We have been playing recorders and practising so we can get better at playing our recorders. It was super fun but sometimes really loud and annoying. What have you guys been learning this term?  

Our term has just started I am looking foreword to team sport prize giving and film festival all the kind of fun stuff. What have been you looking foreword this year? Every friday we do fun stuff like art painting and coloring which is really fun to do on fridays. Do you guys do fun things on friday? What is your favourite country that you would like to see? I like to play cricket because it is really fun and you can have more time to play cricket.             

What is your favourite sport to play? I really love your picture that's on my letter and it really looks like disneyland. I liked the color that you chose to put on the letter on the outside. Do you guys play music and make your instruments with stuff? We have a bike track that you can ride bikes on which is really fun to go on. Are you guys are allowed to bring your scooter and bikes? We are. I hope you enjoy your day

Recorders

In the morning Miss Davis was playing a record for us. We were sitting in a circle she was going to pass the whole recorder around the circle to us to try when she was passing it we were holding it nicely. I was  squished so I moved back  then it was time for learning we putted our hands in the little holes.

We were playing the song b we were gonna play five notes and we only played two the first song. we played was the b song we were using our left hand for the record. we had to put our thumb onto the back and our middle finger onto the middle record after that we started blowing the recorders and it was super annoying and loud.

Then we stopped playing our recorders and we played the song c so we didn't have to put our thumb in the back so we only have to put our hands in the front recorder. We started blowing it and everyone’s recorder was like a different sound then we stopped playing the recorders and we had to blow again.  

Meanwhile we hold our recorders nicely and we were going to blow our recorders around the circle and we had to blow it three times some people recorders was sounding wrong. Miss Davis had to put their hand onto the right holes. I felt very excited to blow it and confident
